Staff Selection Commission (SSC) recruitment

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) recruitment of Constables (GD) in CAPFs and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles 2012. SSC will make recruitment to the posts of Constable (GD) in ITBPF, BSF,CISF,CRPF and SSB  and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles. Female candidate  will be considered  for posts  earmarked for them in different  CAPFs. The recruitment will comprise of  Physical Standards Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Written Examination and Medical Examination.

Pay Scale: PB-1,  Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay  Rs.2000/-

Age Limit: 18-23 years as on 01.08.2012.

Qualification: Matriculation or 10th class pass is the minimum educational qualification.

Application Fee: Rs.50/- payable through CRF Stamp or SBI Challan or on-line payment through account with the State Bank of India. Fee is exempted for all Women candidates and candidates belonging to
Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes  and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation.

How To Apply: Online - The facility of submitting online applications is available on www.ssconline.ssc.nic.in  and http://sscregistration.sifyitest.com. The Offline application is prescribed form. The candidates should pay the fee of  s  50/- by means of "Central Recruitment Fee Stamps(CRFS)"only  .CRFS  stamps are available at the counter of all Departmental Post Offices of the country. The last date for receipt of application is 04/01/2012.  For candidates residing in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Jammu and Kashmir, Lahaul and Spiti District and Pangi Sub Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and for candidates residing abroad  11.01.2012.
