Military Engineer Services (MET) Chief Engineer Udhampur Zone (J&K) recruitment of MATEs in various categories. Applications are invited in prescribed format in MES for the under-mentioned posts, from Indian Citizens as declared eligible by the Government of India, Ministry of Defence.

Pay Scale: PB-I Rs 5200-20200 + Rs.1800 Grade Pay (For all categories)
Age Limit: General – 18-25 Years, OBC - 18 to 28 Years, SC/ST - 18 to 30 Years.
Minimum Qualification: Industrial Training Institute (ITI) pass from a recognized Institute in respective trade. (For example: Mate (Electician) should be in possession of ITI Certificate in Electric/Wireman/Lineman trades, similarly Mate (FGM) shall possess certificate in Mechanic discipline, etc.)
Application Form: The application in the prescribed format on A-4 size paper (210mmx297mm) typed neatly in English duly filled in should be sent to MILITARY ENGINEERING SERVICES, HEADQUARTERS CHIEF ENGINEER UDHAMPUR ZONE, OPPOSITE CHOPRA SHOP, UDHAMPUR-182121 (J&K). Only attested copies of certificates and testimonials should be attached with the application. Original copies should not be attached. Top right hand corner of the envelope for application should clearly mention “APPLICATION FOR APPOINTMENT FOR THE POST OF _____________________ (CATEGORY), CHOICE OF EXAMINATION CENTRE”. The applicants are required to enclose one self addressed envelope of size 220mmx100mm duly affixed with postal stamp of Rs 27/- only.
